RHM Coaching is led by Richard Major, who has over 25 years of hockey coaching experience and has worked with hundreds of players throughout his coaching career.

Richard currently works within the Talent Academy system with Stourport TA, alongside school coaching at Bablake School and Bilton Grange School.

At club level, Richard is Head Coach of Bournville & Kings Heath Men’s 1st XI and REWHC Ladies.

His coaching experience covers players from complete beginners through to county, talent academy and international level.

Most importantly, the aim is simple:

Create an environment where players enjoy hockey, feel confident to develop and are challenged to become the best player they can be.

Hockey Camps in Coventry

Throughout the school holidays, RHM Coaching runs a number of hockey camps in Coventry, providing players with the opportunity to develop their skills, meet new people and enjoy a full day of hockey.

Our camps are designed around fun and development, with no pressure to perform.

Players are grouped appropriately for their age and ability, with sessions designed to help them learn new skills, improve existing ones and challenge themselves in a positive environment.

From complete beginners through to county and talent academy players, everyone is welcome.

Looking for hockey coaching during the summer?

RHM Coaching has also partnered with Rugby & East Warwickshire Hockey Club to deliver the Friday Night Project — bringing together specialist coaches and 1st team players to help young players prepare for the upcoming season.

International Experience

RHM Coaching’s coaching experience extends beyond schools and clubs, with Richard also having worked with England Masters hockey.

In recent years, Richard has been involved with England Masters teams at international competitions, including:
